Top Online Communities for Entrepreneurs and Startups

online business communities

We all need counsel from time to time, and company entrepreneurs are no exception. From staff to money to expansion, there are several difficulties that must be addressed on a regular basis. Even if your company is performing well, dealing with these difficulties is an unavoidable part of owning a company.

Business owners also want support and advice on a regular basis in order to keep moving their company forward. Feeling encouraged and able to reach out for help when required, can be the difference between giving up or pushing forward at times in your business. As a small business owner (or aspiring small business owner), one of the most valuable resources you’ll want to tap into is online small business networks.

Like-minded entrepreneurs may connect, exchange experiences, advice, and resources to help one other succeed in business. Being a part of a community has several benefits; here are my top four.

Top Online Communities for Entrepreneurs and Startups

1. Cuttles

Cuttles helps entrepreneurs develop a strategy for expanding their enterprises. The site attracts investors, company owners, and entrepreneurs with a community of over 15,000 members. They feature an interactive web application with good in-app guidance to help you construct business plans for your firm to assist with startup preparation.

Cuttles also features a startup academy with courses and tools to help you get started on your entrepreneurial path. Their plans are reasonably priced; a Dreamer Plan is €15 per month, while a Startup Plan costs €30. As an entrepreneur, you can sign up for their monthly email to stay informed about community events and news that will help you expand your business.

2. Startup Nation

This online community is open to all entrepreneurs and is completely free to join. It includes a plethora of knowledge on launching, growing, and increasing sales, marketing tactics, public relations, and branding your business as one of the leading web communities for first-time business owners. As a member of the Startup Nation community, you get access to a wealth of resources, including books, e-books, articles, webinars, podcasts, and radio. All of the discussion topics on the community forum are tailored to the members’ needs.

3. Reddit

On Reddit, you can find practically anything. As an entrepreneur, though, there are various subreddits dedicated to startups, entrepreneurship, and small enterprises. On the site, you may conduct customized searches to find information from people who share your interests. r/startup, r/entrepreneurship, and r/smallbusiness are some of the most popular and valuable subreddits to follow. These communities have a sizable following, with the majority having over 400,000 members. You can promote your business and share case studies with the rest of the community in addition to asking inquiries.

4. Small Business Forum.net

This forum, which is moderated by a team of administrators, allows users to ask questions that are then answered by other members. Technology, legal standards, financial, marketing, and a community area are among the parts on the website that address certain issues. Members can post information about their enterprises, and there is also room for conversations about other issues. Small Business Forum.net is a great place to start if you’re thinking about starting a business.

5. Tugboat Institute

This organization wasn’t on my radar before, but it came highly recommended by several high-level entrepreneurs. It was interesting to read about the Tugboat Institute’s evergreen strategy. I assume I’m an “evergreen entrepreneur” — someone who aspires to unite as purpose-driven leaders who scale carefully — but I had no idea. I’ve been disappointed by the Valley’s recent trend of turning into a money-raising measuring contest, so this is a refreshing group that I believe not only encapsulates a good entrepreneurial mindset but also provides a good opportunity to meet like-minded entrepreneurs if you agree with Tugboat’s approach.

6. Small Giants Community

Small Giants, like Tugboat, attract purpose-driven leaders from all around the world by having criteria that aren’t simply about financial success. It has established a strong group of entrepreneurs through a combination of peer groups, content, events, and other tools. I’ve met members of this group on a few occasions, and they’re always friendly and helpful, which is a welcome difference from the usual “What can you do for me?” networking.

7. Mastermind Talks

We were talking about numerous events with a friend I trust, Cameron Herold, and he was commenting on my attendance at each one. When we arrived at Mastermind Talks, he came to a halt and remarked, “What, you’re not a member of that community?” Yes, that needs to be changed.” That sparked my interest in learning more about the neighborhood. Mastermind Talks hosts a flagship event that includes educational training, a vibrant Facebook network of previous attendees, and more. Because the admission rate is lower than Harvard’s, I’d network a little to get on their radar before taking the plunge and risking your ego.
